Local Press Monitors
Volunteers are needed to monitor local governmental news coverage in Montgomery Township and provide feedback (both positive and negative) to our local newspaper editors, reporters, publishers and owners. Citizens wanting to help should be those who regularly read the community sections of our local newspapers and who are concerned about accurate and useful governmental news coverage in Montgomery Township.

Public Document & Record Collectors
Citizens are needed to formally request and secure important documents and other information available under the Pennsylvania Right-To-Know law to be used for investigative and other MTCW stories, or for publication to the MTCW website for public access by our citizens (e.g. payroll information, police and other contracts, etc.)

Investigative Reporters
Volunteers are needed to investigate and write about matters in the public interest for the purpose of developing news and other fact-based information content to be posted on the MTCW website. Interested citizens should have courage, a strong will, a penchant for detail and the ability to write. Professional reporters are also welcome.

MTCW Meeting Representatives
Citizens are needed to attend official township meetings, take notes, voice opinions and concerns and secure answers to important questions from our Board of Supervisors and other township officials on behalf of MTCW and the public.

Feature Content Writers
Volunteers are needed to develop and write feature stories about politically neutral and positive developments and happenings in our township government.

Advertising and Public Relations
Volunteers are needed to help spread the word about the MTCW initiative among our township's citizens.
